![]() ![]() I really like Todoist and keep coming back to it but I also feel like I keep going through this cycle of things ballooning up and then having to walk away from it for a time. Maybe you're more selective with what goes into your to-do list in the first place? Maybe you limit the number of tasks that you focus on per day? However, there are things that just work better in an app (recurring tasks, scheduling tasks that are far out, saving links, etc.).ĭoes anyone have a balance or a mentality when it comes to their setup? I like to keep things relatively minimal, but at the same time, I want to know things are in the system and that they are not going to slip through the cracks. At the end of the cycle, I go back to notebooks for a time and get refreshed from the lack of stimulation. I start to feel crushed by the system and my mental energy is always going toward thinking about it and considering if it could be better. The cycle starts out with this working for a time, but then eventually I start to feel overwhelmed. I will watch their stuff, get inspired, and try to build a super system to capture and remember everything I want to do and everything I need to get done in my life. ![]() I am considering trying to use Todoist again, but here is where I am at. Been using a more analog-based system of notebooks/bullet journals to keep track of my tasks. I think it is a super useful tool and the features have only improved with time. I have used Todoist on and off for years. ![]()
